About Chevelle
Chevelle formed in Grayslake, Illinois, in 1995, with brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler among its founders. Their alternative rock and metal relies on a strong contrast between heavy guitar riffs and melodic singing. The band's recordings often build tension through tightly repeated figures, then open into larger choruses without losing their force.
