About Dream Theater
Dream Theater formed in Boston in 1985 when John Petrucci, John Myung and Mike Portnoy were studying at Berklee College of Music. Their progressive metal brings guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals into elaborate arrangements. Images and Words brought a wider breakthrough in 1992, with Awake and Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory among the important albums that followed.
