About Dropkick Murphys
Dropkick Murphys formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, in 1996. They bring Celtic musical influences into punk rock, combining forceful singing and guitars with a strong sense of communal participation. The band became known for energetic live performances, and their recordings carry that same connection between traditional sounds, direct melodies and the push of a loud rock group.
