About Epica
Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen after his time in After Forever. Their music connects orchestral arrangements and melodic singing with heavier vocals and guitars. Across their records, elements of death metal, progressive metal and other styles broaden that contrast between grand arrangements and direct physical force.
