About My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance formed in New Jersey in 2001 and became one of the major rock bands associated with the 2000s emo and pop-punk scenes. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge brought a wider breakthrough in 2004. The Black Parade followed as a rock opera, with Gerard Way's vocals and the band's theatrical presentation central to its identity.
