About Nirvana
Nirvana formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987, with Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic at the band's core. Their success helped bring alternative rock into the mainstream, while Dave Grohl's arrival in 1990 completed their best-known lineup. Bleach and MTV Unplugged in New York reveal very different sides of a catalogue that continues to connect with listeners.
