About Pothamus
Pothamus are a three-piece band from Mechelen, Belgium. Their albums Raya and Abur combine sludge and post-metal with drones, detailed percussion and quieter atmospheric passages. The recordings place bass and drums near the centre of the arrangements, with Sam Coussens on guitar and vocals, Michael Lombarts on bass and Mattias M. Van Hulle on drums.
