About Shinedown
Shinedown formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2001 around singer Brent Smith. Their guitar-driven rock combines powerful vocals with a strong emphasis on accessible melodies. Albums including Leave a Whisper, The Sound of Madness and Attention Attention show the band's movement between direct hard rock songs and broader, more connected album concepts.
