Spotify About Slipknot
Slipknot formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, combining aggressive heavy music with masks and an intense live presentation. Their self-titled studio debut reached a wide audience in 1999. Iowa pushed their sound into darker territory, while Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) introduced another stage in the band's development beyond those early records.
