About Stone Temple Pilots
Stone Temple Pilots formed in San Diego in 1989, originally featuring Scott Weiland, Eric Kretz and brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo. They became associated with the alternative rock and grunge of the 1990s. Their catalogue also draws on melodic hard rock and more colourful arrangements, giving the band's guitar-driven songs a broader identity.
