About Testament
Testament began in Berkeley, California, in 1983 under the name Legacy. They became a prominent part of the Bay Area thrash metal scene, combining tightly played riffs with lead guitar work and powerful vocals. Their catalogue stretches from the speed of their early releases into heavier later recordings, keeping precision central to the band's identity.
