About Volbeat
Volbeat formed in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2001. Their music combines heavy metal with rock and roll, giving weighty guitar riffs a strong melodic swing. Singer and guitarist Michael Poulsen is central to that identity, which connects older rock traditions with the power and precision of a modern hard rock band.
