English Electric Part One
English Electric Part One brings a wide range of instruments into a clear, song-led form of progressive rock. Big Big Train use guitars, flute, strings and brass to describe landscapes and working lives, with David Longdon's voice providing the connection between them. The record has plenty of detail, but its strongest moments are easy to follow.
