Youth
Youth makes its point with a small set of well-used tools. Citizen bring quiet guitar passages, heavier bursts and Mat Kerekes' exposed singing together in songs that rarely need much decoration. There is a clear debt to earlier emo and alternative rock, but the performances give the familiar shapes enough weight to feel convincing.
