Divine Machines
Divine Machines puts the groove at the centre of Demob Happy's rock sound. The guitars are heavy and slightly hazy, but the bass and drums give the songs their real movement. There are psychedelic colours, bright vocal melodies and small electronic touches around the edges. The trio make those parts feel like one sound, rather than a collection of styles trying to share an album.
