The Wilderness

Explosions in the Sky

The Wilderness gives Explosions in the Sky's instrumental music a different sense of scale. The pieces are shorter than many of their earlier compositions, and electronics play a more noticeable role beside the guitars and drums. The band still know how to build an emotional release, but they are less interested in making every track follow the same gradual climb.
