Feel Something gives Movements a clear purpose: make the singing and the instruments carry the same emotional weight. Patrick Miranda moves between melody, rougher cries and spoken passages, while the band keep the arrangements direct enough for each change to matter. The album draws on familiar emo and post-hardcore sounds, but its strongest songs have a force that goes beyond their influences.
