Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night gives Night Verses plenty of space to move between precision and atmosphere. The trio's instrumental core remains forceful, but the quieter passages and occasional guest voices make the full album more varied. Released in two stages, it works as a substantial whole rather than simply an exercise in difficult playing.
