The Signal Heard Throughout Space
The Signal Heard Throughout Space is a big progressive metal album with a story to match. A space traveller follows a mysterious transmission, and Parius give that journey a full hour of heavy guitars, keyboards and changing voices. The concept is deliberately dramatic. What matters is whether the songs can support it, and the answer is often yes, though the journey could use a little editing.
