Gnosis

Gnosis puts Russian Circles' heaviest instincts close to the surface. The instrumental trio still leave room for melody, but the guitars and bass spend much of the record pressing forward rather than waiting for a distant climax. The result is direct and forceful, with enough movement inside the riffs to keep the weight from becoming a single long blur.
