Iridescent
Iridescent gives Silent Planet's heavy music a strong sense of atmosphere without making it feel distant. Complex guitar rhythms, electronic details and several vocal approaches work within the same unsettled setting. The songs can be forceful, but the quieter spaces are important to how the record develops. The band use them to change the pressure rather than simply prepare another breakdown.
