Good to Go-Go shows how much energy Spyro Gyra can put inside an accessible melody. The band move between jazz, funk, reggae and Latin rhythms, keeping the tunes clear while giving the players room to develop them. The sound is polished, but the strongest passages have plenty of movement beneath that surface. This is an inviting album with more detail than its easy flow first suggests.
