The Room's Too Cold
The Room's Too Cold gives The Early November a wider musical range than a simple sequence of loud guitar songs. Acoustic parts, strings and open arrangements sit beside energetic rock, with Ace Enders' voice providing the connection. His singing can sound gentle or strained, but it gives the record a clear emotional centre even when the writing feels familiar.
