Prelude to Ecstasy
Prelude to Ecstasy is built to make a large impression. The Last Dinner Party fill their debut with strong voices, bright guitar parts, piano and orchestral detail, moving freely between pop melody and theatrical rock. The arrangements are polished and often busy, but the songs have enough clear hooks to give all that activity a useful centre.
