Fire by the Silos

Toska

Fire by the Silos uses a mostly instrumental sound to tell a dark story. Toska combine large guitar riffs, quieter atmosphere and spoken passages around a character who has lost everything through political and economic change. The concept gives the record a direction, but the music is strong enough to carry much of that feeling on its own. The trio work well when they let tension develop before releasing the heavier parts.
