Votum

Votum give :Ktonik: a strong sense of atmosphere without allowing the guitars to disappear into it. The record moves between darker progressive rock and heavier metal, with Bartosz Sobieraj's singing providing much of the connection. His voice can be quiet and fragile or much more forceful, and the band usually make good use of that range. The results are engaging, although the strongest songs set a standard that the whole album does not maintain.
