Departure Songs

Departure Songs makes a substantial demand on time and attention. We Lost the Sea build five long instrumental pieces around loss, endurance and the possibility of hope, using layered guitars, piano and a forceful rhythm section. The music is often heavy, but its strongest passages find their impact through the movement between restraint and release.
