From Silence to Somewhere
From Silence to Somewhere makes a strong case for older progressive rock sounds in a modern recording. Wobbler use vintage keyboards, active bass and detailed guitar arrangements across four pieces, three of them extended developments. The Norwegian band are clearly attached to the seventies, but the playing has enough energy and direction to keep the album from becoming a simple exercise in imitation.
