Kawala
Kawala is good at one thing: making happy, catchy tunes. And believe me when I say they did exactly that with American Adrenaline. The lyrics seem to be a combination of awe for the USA and slightly taking the piss at the same time.
As I was at their last headline concert in Amsterdam of their Farewell Tour, this band has a bit of a special place in my heart. Insanely musical, incredible live performance, very energetic and simply a joy to be in the audience of. This does not always translate to studio albums, but in the case of Kawala it certainly does.
Yes, I may be biased, but it's my review. Give them a listen!
