LORRREY
I'm not really a rap guy, but for some reason this song caught my attention (in a good way). LORRREY describes his own music as being on the blurry line of melodic rap and modern day pop. I have to say, it's kind of hard to define where this song belongs as far as musical categories go, so I'll stay out of that discussion.
One thing is for sure: even though it's not my genre I still appreciate this song. Which makes me wonder why. Well, first of all, the production is on point (which is a big deal for me) and second: he's got a great voice.
The song is very modern in its approach to vocal processing and has a nice vibe to it. There's only one downside: it may be a little bit too short. To be fair, length is overrated (pun not intended), but it takes time to grow into the song and start vibing. I feel like I didn't really get the time to do that. I need more of the good stuff!
But hey, a great song is a great song. Make sure to listen to it!
