About Wes Montgomery
Wes Montgomery was an American jazz guitarist whose warm thumb-picked sound, octave melodies and chord solos helped shape modern guitar playing. His recordings include The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery, Full House and Smokin’ at the Half Note. Blues phrasing and a strong rhythmic feel remained central to his music.
