About Anthrax
Anthrax formed in New York City in 1981 and became one of the leading East Coast thrash metal bands. Alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, they are counted among the genre's 'Big Four'. Fistful of Metal began their studio catalogue, with Spreading the Disease and Among the Living establishing an important part of their 1980s sound.
