Spotify About Converge
Converge formed in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1990, founded by vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist Kurt Ballou. Their music joins hardcore intensity with the weight and complexity of metal. Jane Doe became a defining record in 2001, while the band's wider catalogue helped shape metalcore and mathcore through abrupt rhythms, dense playing and fierce vocal performances.
