About Elbow
Elbow began playing together in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1990 and adopted their name in 1997. Their rock music gives Guy Garvey's distinctive voice a setting of carefully shaped rhythms, piano and guitar. Across the band's catalogue, intimate songwriting and broader arrangements work together, leaving room for both quiet detail and strong collective moments.
