Spotify About Judas Priest
Judas Priest formed in Birmingham in 1969 and became a major force in British heavy metal. Their catalogue connects powerful singing, twin guitar leads and tightly defined riffs, with British Steel helping bring the band to a wider audience in 1980. Records such as Screaming for Vengeance and Painkiller show how their sound also developed towards greater speed and intensity.
