Spotify About Pantera
Pantera formed in Arlington, Texas, in 1981 around brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul. Early glam metal developed into the heavier groove-driven sound associated with Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display of Power. With Phil Anselmo on vocals and Rex Brown on bass, that period helped establish the band's major influence on 1990s metal.
