About Rush
Rush formed in Toronto in 1968 and became closely associated with the trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart. Their music moved from blues-influenced hard rock towards progressive arrangements and later electronic textures. Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures are central albums in a catalogue known for detailed playing and lyrics that explore wider ideas.
