About Trivium

Trivium formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1999, bringing together influences from thrash metal, melodic death metal and metalcore. Their debut Ember to Inferno arrived in 2003, with Ascendancy following in 2005. Singer and guitarist Matt Heafy became a central figure in a catalogue that later included Shogun and In the Court of the Dragon.
